I don’t usually get into politics on my blog, but I’ll make an exception where humor and/or technology are involved. Luckily, this story has both. According to the USA Today:
Move over, Al Gore. You may lay claim to the Internet, but John McCain helped create the BlackBerry. At least that’s the contention of a top McCain policy adviser, Douglas Holtz-Eakin. Waving his BlackBerry PDA and citing McCain’s work as a senator, he told reporters Tuesday, "You’re looking at the miracle that John McCain helped create."
That’s odd, considering that McCain has acknowledged that he doesn’t know how to use a computer and can’t send e-mail.
Perhaps the adviser was referring to the actual blackberry fruit. God knows that McCain was around when they were invented.
